Kokoro no Guntou >> Gundam Wing General Info @_@ Oi, Gundam Wing is so confusing when you first watch it, with all that political junk. (me hates political junk, yuk yuk). Basic information: Humankind has built colonies in space, and people with hopes and dreams for the future left Earth for those colonies. However, the World Federation brought those colonies under its own control. The show starts off with the five Gundam pilots going to Earth on Operation Meteor. Operation Meteor was the plan of Dekim Barton. He planned to crash a colony or two onto the Earth. Then, he would send the Gundam pilots to Earth and they would destroy all military defenses. After this, he would overthrow the Earth Nation, unifying Earth and the colonies. However, the scientists, noticing how much grief this plan would cause, changed it. So instead, the Gundam pilots went after OZ. The basics of the plan were to stand up against the World Federation - all the Gundam pilots were born in the colonies. Unfortunately, Gundam Wing isn’t so simple. Along comes the Romefeller Foundation from who-knows-where, now in control of the colonies. And then eventually, the White Fang, who say they represent the colonies and plan on crashing their ship, the Libra, into Earth. The Libra is actually under the command of Zechs Merquise/Milliadro Peacecraft, with the same view as Dorothy - show the people a war so great they’ll never want to fight again. It’s no wonder why she joined them. ^^ |
