Kokro no Guntou >> Romance It’s hard to imagine Dorothy falling in love, but to be honest, I think she is one character who needs love more than anyone else, considering her past. At first, she doesn’t seem the type to be fazed by falling in love, and she’s not. She isn’t like Relena; she won’t go chasing after someone just to be with them, even if she did love them. She’d most likely keep her feelings to herself unless confronted by the person who loved her. These are just my opinions, though. In the manga, Dorothy seems to be obsessed with Heero at first. When I saw the anime when she first appeared, I didn’t pay much attention to her (I was watching it on Toonami and wasn’t totally pulled into the ‘Gundam Trend’ by then). So I can’t be for sure if she felt the same way about him in that. I think that the reason for her attraction to him was because he was a Gundam pilot, and in the manga she was so anxious to meet them! She did say he was cute when Relena introduced Quatre and Heero. But deep down, if she did have any feelings for him it was most likely because at that point in time we thought that she loved war and Heero fought so willingly. I still need to read the 3rd manga, but I’ve seen the anime (unfortunately, of the vhs of GW I have, Dorothy has not been introduced yet). I saw the end of the GW series, thankfully, and the duel between Dorothy and Quatre. But, Quatre pointed out to us that Dorothy did not love war, but despised it, and that she is, in fact, even nicer than him. Then, after she stabs him and Trowa comes, he so kindly offers for Trowa to take Dorothy instead. ^^ how sweet! Personally, I think that Dorothy and Quatre would make a cute couple. They are so different (opposites attract, ne?), but some much the same on the inside. As Quatre pointed out, Dorothy is even nicer than he is. |
