R O L E P L A Y I N G  G A M E S

Roleplaying was the original subject of Sugar Cravings, and while they RPGs on the current SC aren’t as... active as I’d like, we still do have quite a collective.

Where the Elves Dance (inactive)  idea by LemNElf
This is an RPG for the lovers of elves and other magical creatures

Eternal Night (active)  idea by fiona
A vampire based RpG. Vampires have taken over the world, and a group of humans decide to rebel...

The Polyjuice Potion (inactive)
...is for all those Harry Potter character wannabes. I mean roleplayers. Well, whatever you are, this is the Harry Potter roleplaying board.

Intoxication (active)  idea by Paien
Future holds an eery fate for man kind; after an alien invasion and medical experiments, a new species was created that carried a second circulatory system - one made of drugs.

Reanimation (active) idea by quantumman
It is 2400 and the world has changed; it has been populated by elves, gnomes, and demons for the past 396 years. This is a world where nightmares are reality, magic is the rule.

Facades (active) idea by rouge
Set in the fictional blue-ribbon school of Jericho High, this RPG explores the world of middle-class teens where money and grades are everything and labels dictate who you are.

A Little Interesting Post...

A l o n g time ago when SC was new and young and had the fresh scent of possibility.... </corny intro> a long time ago I posted this and didn't really want to get rid of it - I'm deleting the thread it was in. The message it was trying to convey still holds meaning and importance even now, despite the fact that it was originally posted about a year ago.

What do you think of the pinks? Should I keep pink as the theme color, or go back to the blues? Or how about orange? ^.~ Just kidding, I don't want any more orange.

Right, well, we need someone to play at least one evil character, because as of yet we don't have any! At least, any that keep coming... Eternal Night never really got started, did it? Well, anyway...

::takes out giant megaphone and screams into it, causing a couple people to fall out of their computer chairs and jump to attention > ::

WE NEED EVIL PEOPLE! CALLING ALL EVIL PEOPLE! COME TO SUGAR CRAVINGS AND ROLEPLAY HERE WITH US! WELL, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!

::puts down megaphone and smiles innocently::

In case that doesn't work, I'll put up a sign.

Wanted:
Who? An RpG-er who can play an evil character.
What? Well, it could always be an evil animal, plant, or malicious, scheming microwave (How come the Brave Little Toaster got all the fame, hmm? > bwahaha! )
Why? Because you can't very well roleplay without an evil character.
Where? Here. Sugar Cravings.
When? ASAP! Duh. But malicious scheming microwaves we'd rather not see any time soon.
How? All you have to do is be able to type, and fill out the evil-do-ers application form to join the United Evil Co.(don't worry, it's only 200 questions -- just kidding there's no form or United Evil Co. Or is there? ::arches eyebrow:: You don't have to fill out anything but a very short profile!).
Why? Because we love you and want you to roleplay with us!!! ::cry:: and we're so lonely roleplaying here on our lonesome. Just Kidding! If there's any reason you should join, it's the free butterbeer and treacle fudge, complements of Hagrid, served in the Great Hall. ^_^ If none of those reasons are good enough for you (not even the free butterbeer!) then roleplaying is fun, we need evil people and evil people are always more fun to play (and that's a well-known fact!). Roleplaying also helps writing and creativity skills, I suppose.

If the free butterbeer doesn't convince them to join, we're fighting a lost cause. ^.~

Hmm... I hope I didn't scare anyone away. I'm unusually hyper tonight.

As for names, you could always check out any baby names site; those always worked for me. I don't know any off the top of my head but you should be able to find some in a google search.

And, most importantly, is the question of how will we recruit our minions--I mean our fellow roleplayers? No, I did not say minions, you must have misheard me. Now, we may have to go to drastic measures. For instance, instead of greeting someone with "Hi, what's up?" we say, "Go to http://fiona.conforums.com !" So if you see someone in the hall at school, shout our new greeting out! If you see someone on-line, shout our new greeting out! If you see someone in the mall eating Nathan's frenchfries, which happen to be very good, shout our new greeting out! And if they're resistant at first, just remind them of the free butterbeer and treacle fudge, (or in the Nathan's fries eaters' case, tell them about how we plan on giving out free Nathan's fries).

If these methods do not seem adequate enough, I suppose we could just casually mention Sugar Cravings in a conversation at lunch. But once we take over the world -- I mean, um, ::ahem:: Well, just make sure people know about SC. You could put the url in your profile on AIM, for instance (I already have it there! ^^). Any other ideas?

Bye!!!

PS: I'm just hyper. I suppose I may have had one too many bottles of butterbeer... ::hic:: nahh. ::woosily staggers away::
